LES ÉPINES DU CORONAVIRUS

Au nord de la Syrie, à 40
kilomètres de Damas, un miracle a eu lieu le 27 mars 2020, dans un petit
village, où 15,000 habitants parlent encore l'Araméen, la langue du Christ.
Seidnaya est surtout connu pour son monastère orthodoxe, érigé au milieu du VI
siècle et qui est devenu, au Proche-Orient, le second lieu Saint après
Jérusalem.
Chrétiens
et musulmans viennent depuis toujours dans ce sanctuaire pour prier devant
l'icône miraculeuse de la Vierge Marie, peinte par l'apôtre saint Luc, «La
Chahoura», c'est à dire: la «Célèbre».
À chacun de mes voyages en Syrie, je ne manque jamais
d'aller rendre grâce à Celle qui peut tout. C'est ainsi qu'en 2011, au début de
la guerre, sa Béatitude Mère Christina m'avait autorisé à séjourner trois jours
au couvent pour m'entretenir avec elle (cf: le livre «Le Silence de Dieu» disponible à la librairie Du Parvis.
Souffrant d'une longue maladie, cette grande dame
s'était éteinte peu après, le Seigneur l'ayant rappelée à Lui avant l'invasion des Djihadistes en 2012-2013.
Et voici que 9 ans plus tard, au milieu
de cette pandémie, le nom de Seidnaya est évoqué. Ce que je rapporte ici est de
source sûre puisque j'ai pu m'entretenir directement en arabe avec sa Béatitude
Mère Febronia ainsi qu'avec Soeur Stephania, directrice de la communication au
sanctuaire.
Voici
la traduction littérale de leurs témoignages enregistrés lors de la semaine
sainte:
Le 27 mars 2020, Soeur Domiani,
une religieuse Copte d'Egypte, téléphone
à Soeur Julietta au Monastère grec-orthodoxe de Seidnaya, et lui fait part d'un
songe qu'elle vient d'avoir et qui l'a sérieusement troublée: «Je priais
dit-elle, devant l'icône de la Vierge Marie et je l'ai vu en train de pleurer
et de supplier son Fils pour qu'il éloigne la malédiction du coronavirus sur le monde.
Jésus qui tenait dans sa main le globe terrestre en feu,
a détourné son regard de sa mère en disant: "Je suis triste pour eux, mais
ce monde s'est éloigné de Moi; il s'est lui-même privé de ma Miséricorde, de
l'Amour et de la Prière." Et je le vis jeter la boule de feu !»
Soeur Julietta partage la peine de son amie égyptienne
et la nuit d'après, elle aussi fait un rêve qu'elle raconte: «J'étais dans la
crypte devant la "Chahoura", prosternée, priant et pleurant en
disant: "O Vierge, ne nous abandonne pas, intercède auprès de ton Fils, afin
qu'il éloigne d'eux ce fléau du coronavirus et qu'il guérisse tous les
malades" »
Puis elle se lève et prépare les
tampons de coton imbibés d'huile
sainte. Soudain, elle voit entrer dans la crypte Soeur Mariam qui tombe en
extase devant elle en disant: «Réjouis-toi Julietta, la Vierge a exaucé nos
prières.» Elle a fini par convaincre son Fils de répandre sa Miséricorde sur le
monde et d'éteindre le fléau du coronavirus. Elle a dit: "Annonce au monde
entier qu'on doit marquer d'un signe de la Croix avec de l'huile sainte, les
portes et les fenêtres des maisons, ainsi que le front de chaque personne;
c'est ainsi que l'épidémie du coronavirus prendra fin."»
Mère Febronia ajoute: : «Par la compassion de la Mère de Dieu et ses
supplications, que Dieu ait pitié de nous et nous sauve, Amen !» (Prière à réciter lorsqu'on applique l'huile sainte sur nos fenêtres et sur
nos portes extérieures, de même que sur le front des personnes que l'on veut
oindre.)
Avec un Q-tips imbibé d'huile sainte, on trace un petit
signe de Croix sur le front de chaque personne vivant dans la maison puis sur
chaque fenêtre et sur chaque porte donnant sur l'extérieure de la maison en
récitant la prière ci-haut mentionnée.
Ça nous rappelle un peu le geste que les hébreux ont
posé en teintant les cadrages de leurs portes avec le sang de l'agneau pascal
afin que les anges du fléau contre Pharaon ne tuent pas leurs premiers nés à
eux mais que soient condamnés seulement ceux dont les portes n'étaient pas
rougies par le geste que Moïse leur avait recommandé de suivre selon l'ordre du
Seigneur.

In northern Syria, 40 kilometers from Damascus, a miracle took place on March 27, 2020, in a small village, where 15,000 inhabitants still speak Aramaic, the
language of Christ. Seidnaya is best known for its Orthodox monastery, erected
in the middle of the 6th century and which has become, in the Middle East, the
second holy place after Jerusalem.
Christians and Muslims
have always come to this sanctuary to pray before the miraculous icon of the
Virgin Mary, painted by the apostle Saint Luke, “La Chahoura”, that is to say:

In each of my trips to
Syria, I never fail to go and give thanks to She who can do everything. So in
2011, at the start of the war, her Beatitude Mother Christina had authorized me
to stay three days in the convent to talk to her (cf: the book “Le Silence de

Suffering from a long
illness, this great lady passed away shortly after, the Lord having called her
to Himself before the invasion of the Jihadists in 2012-2013. And here is that
9 years later, in the middle of this pandemic, the name of Seidnaya is evoked.
What I am reporting here is from a reliable source since I was able to speak
directly in Arabic with her Beatitude Mother Febronia as well as with Sister
Stephania, director of communication at the sanctuary.

translation of their testimonies recorded during Holy Week:
On March 27, 2020, Sister
Domiani, a Coptic nun from Egypt, telephones Sister Julietta at the Greek
Orthodox Monastery of Seidnaya, and tells her of a dream she has just had and
which seriously disturbed her: "I was praying," she said, "in
front of the icon of the Virgin Mary and I saw him crying and begging his Son
to take the curse of the coronavirus away from the world.
Jesus, who held the
burning terrestrial globe in his hand, looked away from his mother, saying:
"I am sad for them, but this world has moved away from Me; it has deprived
itself of My Mercy. , Love and Prayer. " And I saw him throw the ball of
fire! "
Sister Julietta shares the
grief of her Egyptian friend and the following night, she too has a dream that
she recounts: "I was in the crypt in front of the" Shahoura ",
prostrate, praying and weeping, saying:" O Virgin , do not abandon us,
intercede with your Son, so that he may remove this scourge of the coronavirus
from them and heal all the sick ""
Then she gets up and
prepares the soaked cotton swabs of holy oil. Suddenly, she
sees Sister Mariam entering the crypt who falls in ecstasy in front of her
saying: "Rejoice Julietta, the Virgin has answered our prayers." She
ended up convincing her Son to spread his Mercy on the world and to extinguish
the scourge of the coronavirus. She said: "Announce to the whole world
that we must mark with the sign of the Cross with holy oil, the doors and
windows of houses, as well as the forehead of every person; this is how the coronavirus
epidemic will end. "
Mother Febronia adds:
"By the compassion of the Mother of God and his supplications,
may God have mercy on us and save us, Amen! ” (A prayer to be recited when
applying the holy oil to our windows and exterior doors, as well as to the
foreheads of people we want to anoint.)
With a Q-tips soaked in
holy oil, we draw a small sign of the Cross on the forehead of each person
living in the house then on each window and on each door leading to the outside
of the house, reciting the following prayer. above mentioned.
It reminds us a little of
the gesture that the Hebrews took by tinting the frames of their doors with the
blood of the paschal lamb so that the angels of the plague against Pharaoh do
not kill their first born to them but that only those whose the doors were not
reddened by the gesture that Moses had recommended them to follow according to
the Lord's order.
